Mission & Calling
For more than a decade, Adam Melvin has served the people and neighborhoods of Atlanta through spiritual formation, leadership development, mentorship, and community building.
As an Urban Missionary, Adam’s mission field is found in the everyday places where life happens. Rather than serving primarily from a church campus, he lives and ministers among the communities he serves—meeting people in neighborhood coffee shops, community centers, parks, local businesses, homes, and public gathering spaces throughout the city.
His work is rooted in the ministry of presence: building authentic relationships, mentoring emerging leaders, responding to moments of need, creating spaces for growth, and faithfully investing in the long-term flourishing of Atlanta’s people and communities. By being planted in the heart of the city, Adam is able to remain accessible, responsive, and deeply connected to the lives of those he serves.
